Value addition activities
To promote income generation and strengthen women’s economic autonomy by enhancing the role of urban agriculture beyond subsistence. Seventy percent of participants reported selling part of the vegetables they produced
New latrines were built to improve the community’s hygiene and sanitation conditions
Cisterns were built for rainwater harvesting, helping ensure water supply for the irrigation of urban gardens
Beneficiaries reported trying to follow a balanced diet, with a particular focus on eating vegetables

Launched in 2021 with the involvement of 26 families, the project has grown significantly over the years: 280 families in 2022 and 530 families in 2023. Thanks to an integrated approach that promotes access to education, the strengthening of agricultural skills, and the enhancement of local resources, Seeds of Hope continues to lay the foundations for a more resilient and inclusive future.
