Café sin Fronteras / Kafe san fwontié

Haiti

Launched in 2014, the binational program implemented in the Dominican Republic and Haiti has supported the development and implementation of national coffee programs through a resilience-based approach, with a focus on women’s and youth empowerment, biodiversity protection, and the dissemination of good agricultural practices. The program has identified and addressed the key challenges of the coffee sector in both countries and has developed actions to strengthen resilience, promote women’s economic empowerment and rights, and support solutions to generational renewal in the sector.
