Peru

The project is part of the environmental conservation activities already underway in the Amazon region of Madre de Dios, integrating reforestation and the sustainable management of natural resources with a community-based tourism programme. The initiative enhances the value of the territory and of the Indigenous community of Boca Pariamanu, promoting a responsible development model that protects the Amazon rainforest and generates direct economic and social benefits for the local population.
Through the active involvement of the community, particularly women and young people, the project aims to strengthen skills, income-generating opportunities, and social inclusion, contributing to long-term development based on ecosystem conservation and local empowerment.
