The Amazonian walnut tree is an ancient tree; in fact, there are specimens between 800 and 1,000 years old. It is among the tallest in the forest reaching up to 60 meters. An average chestnut tree captures 33 kg of CO2 in a year equivalent to 190 km travelled by car.
