GARDEN COFFEE
Since 2010, the Yayu Biosphere Reserve has been protected by UNESCO. It covers 167 thousand hectares of forests, semi-forest systems and plateaus. It is the reserve with the most intense human activity, home to 150,000 inhabitants. Arabica coffee is produced, and the reserve has the highest number of wild coffee plants in the world.
